Mission Statement
SCIATICA-PAIN.ORG is a place where sciatic nerve pain patients can find a sense of community and share their real life stories. The articles on the site are written from a patient’s point of view, since they are written by a actual recovered patient, Sensei Adam Rostocki. The writing is not designed to confuse the reader with technical medical language, but rather, to facilitate understanding of the basic concepts of sciatica back and leg pain by all patients. SCIATICA-PAIN.ORG is written to allow lower back pain patients to learn more about their symptomatic conditions. The site is written in simple, non-technical language that is easy to comprehend. You do not have to be a doctor to appreciate the articles on this site. Most importantly, the writing comes from a place of empathy for our shared pain and struggles, since Sensei knows what it is like to endure the trials of chronic sciatica pain. SCIATICA-PAIN.ORG is written to provide the reader with an alternative to the traditional medical sites on radicular pain. Many internet websites are run by doctors or medical companies that endorse a particular product, service or treatment. This site is designed to liberate the patient from the corporate and professional monopoly on quality sciatica information. SCIATICA-PAIN.ORG is directed towards the lower back and leg pain patient as its core audience. This site is not designed to diagnose, treat or cure any disease or condition. This site does not qualify as professional medical advice. This site is certainly not designed to replace the vital relationship between doctor and patient. SCIATICA-PAIN.ORG is the work of one editor, Sensei Adam Rostocki. All content is written by Sensei Rostocki, unless otherwise credited. The content of this site is original and based upon the research and experiences of Sensei Rostocki. This site also contains references to interviews with sciatica patients and health professionals. These interviews were conducted by Sensei Rostocki and were given freely and for no compensation. This site does not endorse or recommend any particular treatment option for any specific sciatic nerve pain condition. All pages are current and newsworthy when published. Pages are updated as new information becomes available. All pages contain the date that they were originally published, as well as the date of last revision. Please enjoy SCIATICA-PAIN.ORG and visit often. Remember, this site is dedicated to YOU, the patient. The latest updates can always be found on the site blog and we also offer a free newsletter by email.
